Pridelord
Written by Maazori.
Have you ever taken advantage of the Find an Upgrade feature of the Armory? I did and now I am fixated on acquiring the entire Pridelord set. Not sure why as I will probably replace it with my own crafted elemental leather items until I start running 5 & 10 man instances or arenas for some of the other cool sets. The Agility and Stamina of the set should hopefully carry me to about lvl 62.
Dusky Leather got me thru levels 30 - 45 and the pieces were replaced with my current Nightscape set which has carried me thru 52. I have tried to stick with black armor to match my pets but that’s not going to last. I want to acquire sets that will help me maximize my Ranged Attack Power(RAP) and Stamina so I can increase my DPS.
Not sure I like the look of the Pridelord set over my current setup but I’ll give it a shot. What do you think?

Where did my gold go?
Written by Maazori.
WTF???, I only have 2g left. What could I have possible spent it on?
Let’s take a look at my spending for the week:

Holy moly!… I have made and lost over 370G this week & that’s really disturbing.
Take a look at how much I made on selling garbage alone. 37Gs not bad… Nice incentive to buy bigger bags so I don’t have to drop anything in the field. Blizzard…Why can’t leatherworkers craft leather bags?
So what did I spend all my money on?
Oh yeah… I remember:
- mats for elemental leatherworking
- deposits & fees for all of my auctions - blues and greens & even a few purples drops…
- training
- pet food
- pet training
- re-spec costs
- alterac manna biscuits
- arrows
- a new bow & scope
- a gun, scope & shells
- most of the pridelord pieces - still missing the cape, gloves & halo
- reagents for completing my leather working quests
- an axe
- a sword
- repairs
- flight tolls
- bank slots
etc….
I am sure the money drain will only get worse. I see faster mounts, flying mounts, armor sets, upgraded weapons in my future. I better start spending more effectively.
The grind to 70 continues

Just hit 52 tonight while starting the Un’Goro Crater quests. I have already knocked out 6 quests & I may be crazy but I remember this area being a lot more difficult when I ran it as a lock. Maybe it was because I was was on a PVP server at the time or that I was still learning how to play while getting ganked. Or it could be that playing as a BM hunter is just easier thanks to all of the information online from sites like BRK and the WowWiki. I am sure it’s the latter.
Topics read today:
Things I forgot:
- Gorillas yell for help when they are dying: Careful while doing that Chasing A-Me 01 quest and don’t forget your Mithrl Casing.
Things I need to keep practicing:
- Kiting
- Chain trapping
- Jump Shots - I got it down just need to keep practicing
- Discovering the perfect shot rotation - read a ton of info on the subject but it was all for level 60+
I would like to thank the Hunter community for sharing their vast knowledge and experience, It has made my time in game more enjoyable.

MazzleUI
Written by Raazor.
Hi, I am Raazor & I am a huge mod and alt junkie!
I got sick of having to update every mod for each alt after every new patch from Blizzard. The process was such a hassle I quit playing WOW for almost 4 months. Then “The Burning Crusade” came out so I logged in again to check out the new content. After leveling my main Raazor to 63 & playing a bunch of blood elves to level 20, the same frustration arose after another patch release so I quit playing for another 2 months.
Well after watching my friends play one night after a dinner party, I started jonesing to play again. A few more patches were released in my absence so my user interface was a mess with .lua errors . The hunt for updates to my mods began yet again with visits to sites like: Curse, World of War.net, Wow Interface, WowAce etc…
It was on Wow Interface that I came across the MazzleUI. I had tried it out almost a year before and it was slick but way too complicated for my needs at the time. I noticed that it has just been updated to version 1.1 with a laundry list of changes so I thought I would give it another shot. Luck for me this UI made it so easy to configure my favorite mods that I haven’t stopped playing. Unfortunately, my wife’s not too happy that I picked up the habit again. One of these days I’ll get her to try it out.
Anyway back to MazzleUI. Some folks call it a compilation, but it is so much more and there is nothing else like it out there. It took about 30 min. to read the entire FAQ to learn all the options, yet the actual configuration of all of the options only took about 5 min on my one of my alts. Just by answering the questions truthfully during the Mazzifier setup and hitting the Mazzify Me button resulted in a Mazzlegasm, Wooh Hoo!
I won’t go in to the details because the the UI is fully documented and is supported by a very active forum. I highly suggest you read the documentation as everything you need is there. If you visit the forum you will see that most of the posts are from people who just don’t bother taking the time to read the FAQs.
I configured all of my toons with it in record time and I highly recommend you give it a try. I just hope Patch 2.2 doesn’t break it cause it is a fantastic UI and Mazzlefiz is contemplating quiting this great work. Check it out on WoW Interface on Mazzlefiz’s site.
